Metropolitan Police Department (MPD)

The Washington DC Metropolitan Police Department is the principal law enforcement agency for the District of Columbia. It is comprised of seven police districts with approximately 56 police service areas (PSA) citywide. MPD’s primary goal is to secure public safety for its residents and visitors with a focus on service, virtue, and justice for all.
